About the Contest
The NSEF Science Essay Writing Contest is an academic writing competition organized under the National Science and Engineering Fair (NSEF). It aims to cultivate scientific literacy, critical thinking, and effective science communication among students by encouraging them to articulate evidence-based perspectives on science, technology, engineering, and societal issues.
This contest emphasizes clarity, accuracy, originality, and relevance, bridging scientific knowledge with real-world applications and national or global challenges.
Objectives
The contest aims to:
Promote science communication and scientific journalism among students
Encourage analytical and evidence-based writing
